Logitech was a founding member of the TWAIN Working Group, but left the scanning business in 1995. For many years the Logitech QuickCam webcams and ClickSmart digital still cameras had good TWAIN support, but in the most recent updates the Logitech software bundle has dropped the TWAIN driver. TWAIN was never a very good way to interact with cameras - our advice. |

reports resolution of 100 dpi, regardless of video mode, and a physical
size of 8.5" x 11". When the device UI is hidden, only
one frame will be captured each time the device is enabled. Several
seconds are required to open a QuickCam, and at least one second
to capture a frame. Brightness, Contrast, Exposure: Essentially
no settings can be controlled through TWAIN, but we have a report
that ICAP_AUTOBRIGHT works.
ClickSmart cameras offer no support for TWAIN camera features but if enabled in No-UI mode, will transfer all stored images. |
