EZTwainX Diagnostic Logging

When Dosadi technical support receives a problem report about EZTwainX - assuming the problem is not an installation or documentation problem - our most common response is to request a diagnostic log. Follow this procedure:

  1. Look in your Start >> Programs >> EZTwainX. If you see DosadiLog (the red skull icon) - launch it!
  2. If you don't find the logger under EZTwainX, please download and install it:
    http://www.dosadi.com/pub/alpha/dosadilog/setup.exedownload toolkit
    Once installed, run it from the Start >> Programs >> Dosadi.
  3. Rebuild/recompile/restart your program, and recreate your problem, as simply as possible.
    Diagnostic logging information should appear in the DosadiLog window.
  4. Terminate the running application as politely as possible - use normal exit and shutdown if you can.
  5. In the logger, use the File - Save As command to save the log to a .txt file, then E-mail that file to Dosadi: support@dosadi.comsend e-mail
