EZTwain Pro 3.0 - Changes from version 2 to version 3

All existing functions were kept unchanged except: 1) TWAIN_ModalEventLoop and TWAIN_WaitForNativeXfer were deleted, and 2) TWAIN_AcquireToFilename and TWAIN_WriteNativeToFilename - if they are given a filename with a recognizable extension (such as .tif or .jpg) they write in the corresponding format, ignoring TWAIN_SetSaveFormat.

• The name of the DLL has changed from eztw32.dll to Eztwain3.dll.
• The IJL (Intel JPEG Library) DLL is replaced by the (license-free) EZJpeg.dll.
• New DLLs support the other new file formats: EZPng, EZGif, EZPdf, EZTiff.
• The EZTwain installer now puts the DLLs into the Windows System32 folder.

EZTwain Pro 3 offers many new capabilities:

• Read and write TIFF, PNG, and GIF files, and write PDF files.
• Write multipage TIFF and PDF.
• Single-call scanning of multiple pages to TIFF or PDF file.
• Exception trapping so hard TWAIN errors do not crash your application.
• New DIB processing functions: Flip, Rotate, Crop, Merge, Resample/Resize, Convert.
• Text can be drawn in an image in a selectable font, size, color and placement.
• DIB Printing functions.
• Extensive indexed User Guide.pdf with many 'How To' sections.
• Complete declaration files for: Delphi, Perl, Visual FoxPro, VB, C#, VB.NET
• Bug fix: Incompabilities with Syscan TravelScan scanners.
• Bug fix: Incorrect handling of user Cancel with some scanners.
• CMY and CMYK scanning, from scanners that support this.
