Generic Video DataSource (TWAIN driver)
This is a basic TWAIN driver that provides access to any Video For Windows video device. Its main advantage is that it works fairly well in 'No-UI' mode, meaning it can do fully automatic single-frame captures under program control.
Download the zip file here. Open the zip archive and copy the VideoDS.ds file anywhere under the Windows\twain_32 folder. This will immediately give you a new TWAIN device named Video DataSource.
The Generic Video DataSource is free for personal use or within a registered charity or 501(c)3 organization.
