Default Getting IsCapAllowed error message

I could use a little help on this one, being a scanner programming novice...

I have a user getting this message using my software (EZTwainPro) with a HP Officejet, 7110Oxi all-in-one scanner. I have not heard of this at all and googling gave me nothing.

Anyone familiar with this?

Default IsCapAllowed error message

Hi John - I can't find any trace of that message in our code, and it isn't in the TWAIN sample driver either. And yet I found this one reference on the web:

From digging into some old TWAIN drivers, I think that at some point maybe the TWAIN sample source included this as an internal (like a debug) message - In other words, it wasn't expected to be displayed except to the driver developers. I think it is coming from the HP TWAIN driver, but if you want to try to pin it down more, add this call at the top of your EZTwain scanning sequence: TWAIN_LogFile(7). Then recreate that error message, and when it pops up kill the process. Find the file c:\eztwain.log and e-mail it to me. The last call in the log should be the one that triggered that message...
